Sharepoint Administrator

Position

Are you someone who knows your way around Microsoft 365, has a knack for working on concurrent IT projects, organizational skills, and can provide a high level of customer service? Then we want to talk to you!!

Come Join POA's dynamic IT team! The SharePoint Administrator must have excellent communication skills along with an in-depth understanding of the current Microsoft 365 platforms. The SharePoint Administrator must also have excellent time management skills to be up for the challenge of working under deadlines for POA’s IT customer projects to be successful.

Job Duties:

  • Administer, maintain, and monitor SharePoint Online environments for MSP Clients, ensuring optimal performance, security, compliance, and governance.
  • Manage site collections, permissions, content, and navigation across business units.
  • Customize and configure SharePoint Online sites, web parts, lists, libraries, and workflows to meet business needs.
  • Implement and support integrations between SharePoint Online and other Microsoft 365 services (OneDrive, Teams, Power Automate, Power Apps).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint Online-related issues (e.g., access, content management, configuration errors).
  • Provide user support and training for SharePoint Online features, functionalities, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal/external teams to gather requirements and implement new SharePoint Online solutions.
  • Conduct regular audits, health checks, and governance reviews to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Manage SharePoint storage, backups, and data recovery plans.
  • Oversee SharePoint migrations, working with Project Coordinators and reviewing Statements of Work.
  • Document technical processes, configurations, and policies to ensure continuity and support.

Required Skills:

  • Associate’s degree or SharePoint certifications.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in IT or a related field.
  • Strong expertise in SharePoint Online administration.
  • Proficient in providing user support for Windows 10 and 11.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server, desktop environments, and Microsoft 365.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Microsoft 365 Administrator or SharePoint Online certification.
  • Foundational knowledge of networking technologies.
  • Experience with migration tools such as SkyKick, Cloudiway, Mover, and BitTitan.
