We are seeking a Wide Format Specialist to support our Phoenix, AZ office. This role serves as a technical and consultative resource for our wide format print division, working closely with sales representatives and clients to drive business opportunities, perform installations, and deliver product training.
Essential Job Duties
- Assist the sales team with needs analysis, customer presentations, and product demonstrations focused on wide format printers and finishing equipment
- Provide on-site customer training and post-installation support to ensure satisfaction and optimal product usage
- Prepare and present workflow solutions tailored to architectural, engineering, signage, and graphic arts environments
- Stay informed on the latest wide format hardware, RIP software, media, and finishing technologies
- Work directly with clients to understand their application requirements and advise on solutions that drive value
- Support and deliver training for sales representatives to increase their product knowledge and confidence
- Maintain relationships with wide format vendors and participate in certifications and factory training
- Act as the primary point of contact for installations, escalations, and configuration assistance in the wide format print category
- Manage a dynamic schedule that may include travel throughout the Oregon territory for client support
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in wide format printing (sales, pre-sales, support, or key operator experience)
- Strong understanding of large format print technologies (e.g., aqueous, latex, eco-solvent, UV, or toner-based systems)
- Experience with RIP software such as Onyx, Caldera, EFI Fiery XF, or similar
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with media handling, color management, and ICC profiling is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Bi-lingual is a plus+
