Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our team in Beaverton, OR. This entry-level position is responsible for accurate and timely billing of standard contracts, basic account audits, invoice corrections, and other routine billing tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in billing and grow into more advanced responsibilities.

Essential Job Duties

  • Process billing for standard contracts using business management software

  • Review usage reports and verify billing data for accuracy

  • Perform basic account audits, including reviewing contract rates, terms, and active services

  • Process rebills, corrections, and straightforward invoice disputes

  • Enter dealer meter information and resolve basic billing discrepancies

  • Maintain accurate notes and documentation in company systems

  • Generate basic reports and populate reporting templates

  • Monitor billed and unbilled items and complete assigned work within expected timelines

  • Identify and escalate billing errors, missing information, or other account issues

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Ability to follow established processes and meet deadlines

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Comfortable using email and Microsoft Office tools

  • Basic Excel skills; ability to filter and sort data

  • Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy

  • Professional phone and interpersonal skills

Preferred, but not required:

  • Associate degree

  • Previous billing, invoicing, accounting, or office experience
